Roxanne Jones State Farm is seeking a motivated, sales-focused Acquisitions Specialist who enjoys connecting with people, building trust, and helping customers protect what matters most. Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full agency support provided)
• Life & Health license must be obtained within 60 days of your start date
• We provide licensing guidance, study support, and onboarding assistance throughout the process

Position Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and contributing to agency growth. You will engage with prospective customers, conduct consultative sales conversations, and help customers find personalized insurance solutions that fit their needs.

This role also requires a team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist with customer service interactions when appropriate.

Responsibilities

Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, community outreach, and lead follow-up

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers

Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products

Provide friendly, professional support to existing and prospective customers

Assist with service-related needs including policy questions, account updates, and customer follow-up

Maintain accurate documentation and customer records within agency systems

Track activity, pipeline progress, and production goals consistently

Collaborate with team members to support office growth and customer satisfaction

Ensure compliance with agency standards and insurance regulations

Qualifications

Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals

Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the sale

Ability to multitask

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Prior sales, customer service, insurance, or business development experience preferred

Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above
